Getting customers through the door is a vital part of any business, from product sellers to service providers, all businesses strive to get more customers. While increasing your customer count sounds difficult, it is actually quite easy once you know how to do it.
In a 2012 FedEx survey, it found that 76% of consumers will enter a shop they’ve never visited before based on the strength of the signage, but more importantly, 52% said they would be reluctant to shop if the signs were not well done. So not only do businesses need signage to get more customers, but those signs also have to be high quality and “well done.”
Luckily, updating or adding business signage has already been linked to increasing revenue by several studies. The Economic Values of Signage found that 60% of companies that updated or added business signage saw a 10% (or more) increase in their revenue that same year. Business signage has been directly linked to increasing businesses' customer count and providing a valuable return on investment in the process.
